Many times important information that you want to draw attention to on the front page is too long to post in its entirety.  This is not a problem at all because it is easy to post a portion of the article on the front page and then have a "read more"option available such as the one in the bottom right corner of this article.

Now this is where you would pick up the extra portion of the article that was too long to fit in the space that you had allocated for the article on the front page.  I am aware that most of the text I am including is self explanatory but I am merely trying to fill in the pages so it is easy to get the concept of how a finished site looks.
